A plan to strengthen border security measures in the bipartisan immigration bill easily passed the Senate Monday.
In a 67-27 vote, 15 Republican senators joined most Democrats to end debate on an amendment by GOP Sens. Bob Corker of Tennessee and John Hoeven of North Dakota.

Murkowski. What a surprise... not.
Marl Levin will have to abandon Hatch now. He’s gone. Chiesa, what will Krispy Coulter say now? Wicker is a douche.
Lindsay Graham jumps off the page at you...I think the only one up for re-election next year. Taking him down in a primary should be step #1.
That’s not true. Hispanic turnout is 50%. Only half of legal adult hispanics vote. The Arizona statehouse is full of white conservative men. Brewer only gets 30% of the hispanic vote and wins comfortably.
Republicans get 66%-80% of the adult white vote in Arizona and Texas which is why those states are red. If every single Adult hispanic voted maybe that would be a closer election. But if that happened you’d have every single white voting to try to stop Rep Grijalva trying to ban guns and civilian border patrol.
Flake has always supported open borders and mass immigration. He was selling the amnesty in 2006 and 2007. His primary opponent ran ads where Flake said he is against Border Security first. They still elected him. You can look up old video of him on Lou Dobbs arguing with a conservative Republican.
The difference with McCain was he voted against the 2010 lame duck amnesty that Lugar and Murkowski voted for. That was 55 votes for the amnesty. If McCain, Snowe, Collins, Brownback and Graham had voted yes there would have been the Dream Act amnesty. After the backlash of 2010 McCain thought he was part of the movement.
If McCain crokes Brewer ought to send Wil Cardon to senate to trash Flake.

TN - CORKER seems to have tunnel vision now; because his name is on the thang.... dang it... not sure if ALEXANDER is just doddering along; or someone twisted his tie.
AL- Sweet Home made me proud; SHELBY & SESSIONS voted NO! PROUD of JEFF SESSIONS: Spent many hours on the Senate floor last two days -->>pointing out the flaws and failures of the proposed bill.
GA - Apparently ISAKSON & CHAMBLISS abstained--
...Unless they just lucked out via flight delays.
I know they got an earful today... :-) all day
So they really want us to believe the federal government, for the first time in modern history, will overcome democrat blocking tactics and actually institute real border security, huh?
1986, 2002, 2007. No other rationale for NOT trusting the follow-through is necessary.
All that I can do is to NEVER VOTE FOR THAT TRAITOR wicker AGAIN. I will NOT VOTE for him under any circumstances.
LLS
most of the usual suspects I see.
Great appointee, fits right in to NJ
Can’t wait to see some radical muslim from Murfreesboro, Tenn...Paterson, NJ...Dearborn, Mich, sworn into the US Congress within the next 4 years. It’ll be awesome.
Before you can vote for a third party, there needs to be a second party....
Mark apologized to his audience today for Orrin Hatch, said he will never have his vote again. It sounded like it hurt Mark to say that, actually felt bad for him. He also said he will never support Flake again. He was not quite as direct about Rubio, but is clear he is disappointed with Rubio too.
You must hate the 17th Amendment as much as I.
Christie screwed up big time.....nice user name!
These people are the enemies of the Republican party.
They have done everything they could to divide and destroy the party; the Democrats are united on this.
The recall movement against McCain and Flake is now under way in Arizona. It should focus on McCain, because he is now vulnerable. Flake can be dealt with in a primary; Paul Gosar and Trent Franks could both be a threat to him.
It has to start now.
I’m surprised, NO Wisconsin rep. on the list.
I heard that too and feel the same way about his remarks.
I am upset about all of this. It seems like we are always trying to replace these people or waiting for them to die off but they never do.
I can’t take it anymore.
Unfortunately, given the revelations of wholesale spying even of Congress, the odds that some of the votes were warped by blackmail has moved from theory to distinct possibility.
Lamar! and Baby Lamar! are both members in good standing of the establishment club. Sadly, Tennessee voters are well-trained.
Proud to say that OH’s Rob Portman stood firm. I’m kinda surprised.
