Had the opportunity to listen to Chris Plante podcasts this weekend. He’s pretty good-enjoyed it. Witty and a bit sarcastic. I like that. :)
Urbanski is pretty good, and may be Rush's best sub. I like Mark Steyn's humor, but after three hours it kind of grates on me.
As long as we never hear from the awful Mark Davis again, I'm pretty happy with Rush's substitute hosts...
I’d like to hear Chris Plante as a sub for Rush.
Jim Quinn of Pittsburgh should get the opportunity, as well; his partner, Rose, has subbed for Hannity several times but she shouldn’t be the only one to get national exposure.
He’s good. He’d make a great sub for Rush. I try to listen in the mornings, but if busy, I can get his podcasts after 3:30-4pm from WMAL’s site.
He’s live on WMAL 9-Noon.
He should replace Rush when he retires.
Is it just me or does it feel like Rush is often gone at peak times of contention with the GOPE
Agreed; Simone’s voice grates on me, too. Urbanski speaks too fast. I’m 1-2 secs delayed, trying to catch-up to him. LOL.
Yes-podcasts are great. I download all of Levin’s and Plante’s and then listen to them back to back on the weekends. Helps me get through the hours and hours of housework and yardwork to be done.....
Enjoying Urbanski today!
So since all of FedGov seems to be against us with respect to their RULE over us, perhaps 2014 should be a GRAND resurgence of the Citizen Representative!! A GRAND “VOTE THEM ALL OUT” movement! And not just a movement to replace said Elites with other lifetime politicians, but kicking the entire lot of them to the curb!
bttt
I do the same thing; we must live in the same neighborhood.
;^)
Leni is thinking about a get together in NPR. August I think. Are you up for some fun?

yep. lol. It’s a love/hate relationship with the yard. Makes Mondays a bit difficult.
I got to use the Spurs-Heat series as a teaching tool for a Liberal this weekend. He was talking about the Electoral College vs. popular vote. I pointed out that the Spurs won the popular vote by five (score), but lost in the Electoral College. As a big Lebron fan, he felt a sudden urge to shut up.
Gardening/landscaping is NEVER finished; there’s always 10 more things to do. I used to own/run a Family Farm Business (closed 11/1/11) and between it, 28 employees and all the customers’ work projects, it was 15hrs/day, 7 days a week, for 22yrs. The economy and gov’t killed Farming/Horticulture, in ‘10-’11. Glad it’s over. I was tired of fighting a losing battle.
Oh wow. But I bet it was a fine business-given all the hours and effort you put into it. So sorry and sad it ended on those terms. But-more time for talk radio and Free Republic, no? :)
Gardening can teach one many life lessons-patience and perseverance on mother nature’s (actually God’s) terms.
Glad it is Doug Urbanski. Either him or Mark Steyn.
You gotta see this YT vid of the Hastings crash; get some tinfoil...
