Well, it's good to know where his head is at:
From Yahoo News:
"Sen. Lindsey Graham would propose censoring Americans' 'snail' mail if he thought it would help protect national security, the South Carolina Republican said Tuesday. But for now, he says he doesn't think it's necessary."
The direct quote is: "If I thought censoring the mail was necessary, I would suggest it, but I don't think it is."
Graham went on to liken it to World War II, when international mail was subject to inspection and censorship.
"When you wrote a letter overseas, it got censored. When a letter was written back from the battlefield to home, they looked at what was in the letter to make sure they were not tipping off the enemy... because under the Japanese and Nazi regime, they weren't that big into the First Amendment."
While all of that's true, it's also true that communications to and from a war zone have always been understood to be subject to censorship. I'm not sure that even in extremity, that's much of a model for how to handle the so-called "war on terror."
And it's odd: I suspect that many Americans have a gut reaction against the image of government officials physically opening and reading their mail without warrants. Yet for some reason, that visceral reaction is considerably muted when the discussion turns to email.

The US, led by democRAT president FDR, also put its citizens in internment camps during that war; would this liberal jackass be for that as well?
And if controlling the border helped? Not so much.
You are a treasonous POS
...but I’m still a conservative because it says so in my website and in my TV ads.
Yes, Please, South Carolina voters, help out the country, don’t reelect Lindsey Graham.
And people wonder how Nazi Germany happened. They didn’t just stand up one day and say “let’s take over the world and kill all the Jews” and a bunch of other ideals. .. No, It was a little at a time they pulled more and more power to themselves, took more and more away (rights, dignity) from people. ... Seems humanity needs to relearn this hard lesson, again. Last time it took a few tens of millions of lives. ..
This is why it’s a bad mistake to call what isn’t war, war.
War on poverty, war on drugs, war on terror...one day you wake up and find yourself in a state of permanent war. Everyone’s involved and individual rights take a back seat on a flatbed.
(Search for Chris Hedges commentary on “permanent war,” as you will. I hesitate to use links and do not endorse every word Hedges has ever said.)
Now THAT is a great bumper sticker!
That idiot would gladly support forced labor camps too I’ll bet and public beheadings. For a squish he’s a bloodthistly little shite.
Only for people who don't think things through.
How about slavery, Lindsay?
