NSA director: Edward Snowden has caused irreversible damage to US

National Security Agency director Keith Alexander said on Sunday that whistleblower Edward Snowden betrayed the trust of Americans and defended the broad surveillance programs as necessary to prevent another terrorist attack.

As Snowden evaded an attempt on Sunday by Washington to have him arrested in Hong Kong, General Alexander told ABC's This Week: "This is an individual who is not acting, in my opinion, with noble intent ... What Snowden has revealed has caused irreversible and significant damage to our country and to our allies."

Alexander said the NSA surveillance programs Snowden had disclosed to the Guardian were tightly overseen and disputed statements from members of the Senate intelligence committee that they had not played a unique role in preventing terrorist attacks.

I find it odd that you rail at the GOP over this, but I have yet to see any criticism from you for the Obama administration.

Just saying, y’know?

The Obama is such a POS it should go without saying. They are the crap that all libs are and nothing we do or say will ever NOT make then that.

The GOP is supposed to be the opposition party. We elect them to be that. When they act like the human garbage that is the Democrat Party, should we just rah rah them some more and encourage them further into liberal land or do you think we should rail them for not doing their damn jobs?

When the GOP does something remotely conservative,, you will see me support that. When was the last time they did that?

No, they expect the masses to roar in approval when an American non-muslim is executed by Dear Leader without any due process using a drone, sniper, or SPECOPS team.

Obambi had better be careful where he tries that option, as it could be construed as an act of war. Certainly, it would be foolish to assault somebody in Russia or China.

I think that the reaction that DL thinks he would get from the people would not be nearly as positive as what he wants. We're onto his tricks.

Irreversible damage as in the low information types suddenly had their collective antennae perk up and pay attention to something clearly unconstitutional?

DL might well desire to extrapolate from the al-Awlaki case.

Ironically, DL probably cringed more when his compatriot and co-Islamist, al-Awlaki (a US person, eh?), took the drone hit in Yemen than he would zapping the Snow-white Snowden. And we didn’t mind all that much because we knew Awlaki was an anti-American, Islamic terrorist and terrorism inciter (the latter was prolly why Barry could bring hisseff to sign the order, as the WOT was declared OVER!) irrespective his ability to insinuate himself sufficiently to get a US passport.

Nonetheless, I agree with you, but DL will be the one that’s surprised about the collective reaction. Fine with me.

Sunshine is good. Violating the constitution is evil. Hi nsa weenies. Tell the president i said hi. Oh, wait. I think his boyfriend is coming over to the white house to play dress up. You might not want to disturb him.
