I'd also like an automatic weapon like 0bammy is giving to Al Qaeda in Syria.
Come and get me copper.
None of the freaking government's business about my health insurance.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. We were heading back there form Virginia. No more. We’re going to Arizona. They can take Obamacare and shove it.
The level of ignorance in this country is astounding and depressing.
Sign-up for Obamacare begins in 100 days
Well, that should be interesting as hell. Let’s see these wimp obuma runts try to force people to do anything. The enforcers are fat 30 IQ slobs who have zero military training.
wonder how many of us are ready to go to jail over it.
The Government will straighten them out.
The number will be at least four times that large before this disease runs its course. Marginal businesses are already dropping their coverage and agreeing to pay fines instead. Many others are turning full time employees to part-timers in order to avoid being socked with mandated coverage.
For the rest of us, the coverage will just get more expensive and crappier.
Crap. Obama wins either way. Either you take the mark and pay the price or go to jail and they seize your accounts.
If you are a family of four, without any employer based coverage, making around $50k total a year, your monthly premiums are going to be about $450 a month. Not cheap, but still heavily subsidized.
So who is really getting screwed, besides all the people that pay heavier taxes to pay for the program? Single males, who won't get much of a subsidy, but get to pay an insurance rate that covers women in their most fertile years. The upper middle class who enroll in this program, who will see there isn't any difference between making $85k and $95k because every extra dollar made either goes for income tax or health insurance as the government subsidy goes to zero.
The biggest screw of all, that same family of four above if dad is offered employee and not family coverage. While before he could have elected for high deductible or catastrophic coverage before, now in order to have insurance he will have to enroll in at least a "bronze" plan, but doesn't qualify for a subsidy. How many $50k families can afford $1200-1500 a month in premiums. That's a house payment. The democrats went on and on about the "doughnut hole" in the medicaid part D legislation. It is nothing compared to the black hole many Americans are going to face with this screwup in the ACA bill.
We just had a real-life preview of how compassionate we can expect the bureaucrats to be in whether we get the care we need. Remember just a week ago when the little girl with cystic fibrosis needed a new lung, and instantly she was denied, That will be all of us folks. But take comfort in the fact that all the illegals who will be invading our southern border will be welcomed to take our place, and will receive the best health care our money can buy.
No repeal, no heath care customers!!
I think the way it works, is, you have to provide a copy of proof of insurance with your tax return. If you can't prove you have health insurance, IRS fines you and each year you don't have proof, the fine goes up.
Our youngest is just starting college. Thankfully, we have insurance. The college healthcare plans have just skyrocketed. They used to be around $200-300/ year when her older siblings were in school. Now it’s up to $1300/ year- in just one year. The cover letter from the college stated plainly this was due to the “Affordable Care Act,” and is out of their control.
In some places the college healthcare plans are increased 1112%. Most colleges REQUIRE you have health insurance, and financial aid does not offset healthcare costs. These students, or their parents, are paying through the nose. In a few months, EVERYONE will know Obamacare is law, regardless of their level of ignorance.
You won't escape 0bammyCare in AZ...Gov Brewer recently signed on for the Medicaid expansion :(
Yep. Illegals AND criminals. Even illegal criminals!
...and about 40 percent of them will be saying, “What? We have to pay for it? Nobody told us that”.
