This is why democracy always fail. We allow stupid immature people who want to live in a fantasy world to actually have a political voice when they should be shouted down. Whatever society develops after ours fails, will remember this lesson well.

I agree that our society will fail and our successors would do well to learn about the perils of democracy. You state it with refreshing bluntness in this age of egalitarianism. But I would also call attention to the related folly of "Enlightenment rights-talk" which has swept the post-Christian West. It treats truth and ultimate ends as secondary. Over time, it inclines people to think more about what we can do and what we like to do than asking what we would best do, and is a prime destroyer of "social capital." It also makes our system of law and our cultural norms ill-suited for one another.
