I remember way back in FR history there was a poll taken on this board with the question asked, in effect, "Who, in your opinion, is the worst (smarmiest, annoying, moronic, irritating, lying, pathetic, marxist, racist, leftist, phony, socialist, idiotic.......I can't remember the exact word but these all apply, so who cares) personality on TV news?"

The names of a lot of well-know, all time lefties were submitted, but at the finish of the poll the leader of the pack and indisputable winner was Geraldo Rivera.

I'll bet a fistful full of Euros that if we had a similar poll now, Bill O'Weasel would win hands down.

He qualifies with so many appellations, including yours, Pan_Yan (i.e., "supremely smug", "condescending", "laughably wrong") and including some of mine, "arrogant", Obama-loving", Obama-excusing", "rude", "dictatorial".......

I so wish someone would start a thread again with a poll on "worst" TV news personalities again.

We could really have more fun with this than if we were sittin' on the porch watching a chicken pull a tractor.

Bill O'Reilly is #1 because he and most uninformed people actually think a conservative.

Jerry Rivers is #2 because he's more fake and has been for longer than the combined facial work of Cher, Joan Rivers and Nancy Pelosi.

Keith Olbermann gets an honorable mention just because of the story where his internet girlfriend broke up with him and he hid under his desk and wouldn't come out. Someone else had to go do the Sports Center update for him.
