Yes, it is similar to Silkwood, as to the facts of the collision. I can’t help but think, on a broader level, of the mysterious death of someone that has obtained “explosive” information. Please forgive the pun.

Maybe someday we will know what, Silkwood, Richardson, Hastings, etc. knew that got them noticed.
