TED CRUZ LAUNCHES NATIONAL PETITION DRIVE AGAINST GANG OF EIGHTS IMMIGRATION BILL
** Sign the petition here.
Breitbart.com reported:
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) launched a national petition on Thursday to stop the Senate Gang of Eights amnesty bill and send Washington a strong signal of the grassroots opposition to the bill.
This is urgent, Cruz wrote in an e-mail to supporters. We must stop this Gang of 8 immigration bill, which would give amnesty to an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants with no guarantee of a secure border.
The Senate debate is in the final stages and we need to send Washington a strong signal of the overwhelming grassroots opposition to this amnesty bill from Americans across the country, Cruz explained.
Cruz urged supporters to share the petition with friends and to act nowwithout delayto help us defeat amnesty and stand for legal immigration!
FYI: The current proposed bill will still allow illegal immigration.

Does anyone know the SB #? I’d like to refer to that when I contact the political offices. Thank you! I”ll keep looking as well.
I tried to sign the petition, but it required a donation... wtf?
My Pubbie Senator (Grassley) is not on your list, but I called his office this morning anyway. Even the mostly good guys need to feel the heat — and Grassley can be wobbly at times. I congratulated him on his efforts on the IRS scandals but said we need to completely alter the tax system... and said trust in govt has been so eroded that we should not be passing ANY large bills even if they have things in them that sound good. His aide asked if I’d been to his website and I said yes, and that is why I was calling — it is not enough for the Senator to say he is not for amnesty, because one can always say this bill is not amnesty. I asked for his thoughts on the current bill with the addition of the amendment. Apparently the Senator hasn’t committed on this bill yet, so I am glad I called. I chewed the ear of his aide while she mostly just “uh-huhed” me and then she said she had other calls coming in. I said people will be voted out of office over this and I hoped the Senator would not be collateral damage!!
Signing the Cruz petition is so easy. If you don’t want to to donate, just sign the petition and bug out!!! It is as easy as 1-2-3!!! That is exactly what I did!!! Yep....one million signatures carries a bit of weight....since the reality of this whole sham is that the overwhelming majority of Americans, most Hispanics included, could care less about a path to freedom for illiegal immigrants!!! If you sit on the sidelines and moan about this or that....please don’t com[lain when the “Democrat” immigration bill passes. Knocking Cruz and carping is no way to go through life!!! Action is what needed. Sign the pertition, period!!!

Knocking Cruz gives the Dem communists fodder to attack him from their side. I’ll be signing the petition.
I don’t think it requires a donation. I think it sends you to the donation page after you hit “submit” to sign the petition.
People don’t get it. Both parties want this bill. The Dems want it for amnesty and increased numbers of legal immigrants that will make them the permanent majority party. The bill will bring in at least 47 million legal immigrants over the next 10 years—three times more than the decade ending in 2010, which saw 13.9 million legal immigrants enter this country, the highest decade in American history.
The Reps want the bill for more guest workers—white collar and agricultural—to please their corporate masters. The bill doubles the number of guest workers increasing the numbers by 1.6 million the first year and 600,000 every year thereafter.
This phony border security scam issue is meant to deflect from the central problem with this bill, i.e., it takes jobs from American workers and depresses wages even further. Throwing more resources at the border really does not fix this bill or this central problem. We are being sold out by the political elites of both parties.
If he didnt make it a campaign fund petition it might have seemed a little more sincere.
You’ve got it exactly right.
Such supposedly Apple-pie institutions as the US Chamber of Commerce support it. Without high tech behind it for its own immigration goodies, it probably wouldn’t have the oomph to pass, either—though it is primarily big employers of low-skill illegals pushing it through. And, of course, one worlders have been for the de facto political unification of the Americas for decades now.
With the consistent political-media din, the pollster monkeys are able to generate favorable-appearing polls on it now, too.
Oh, and for good measure, the tea parties are now completely distracted with their civil liberties distractions, organizing protests against the IRS rather than against the massive amnesty about to pass.
Sarah and Cruz please run
at least it’s something and it’s better than just sitting one ones ass and then moaning it won’t do anything.
Its high time all of us on here and other sites and talk radio got off their asses, made some calls and send mail instead of just posting on places like this moaning
I’m about to call everyone of them and send them all mail.
Why the hell can’t others do something, I;ve seen yea what ever or that will work, or it’s a waste of time.
I think there are quite a few trolls on here or we have too many lazy posters who like to moan on here but then never do a damn thing
sign it and then get off, it’s easy
S 703, I believe that is the number
S 744
Thanks, my bad on the number.
Ditto. I'm convinced they all can be bought for a price.. if they prove otherwise, great... but as of now, I don't trust anyone in DC.
