Morning! First day of spring!
Maybe it will start to warm up now......
Ummm...Summer, LOL! And yup...IT"S STILL FREAKING COLD AT NIGHT!
Yesterday was the first Thursday without rain for 6 weeks so I tried to go to the local farmer's market. After waiting an hour in traffic (thanks Penndot. ! road closed, lots of other work going on) I finally got to the entrance on Greentree RD.
Of course that is at the beginning of rush hour and after seeing the trouble people were having leaving I decided to cut my losses and head home instead of going in.
Next week I'll try walking. That would be faster!
Mornin everybuddy!
Morning A.M.
Good morning n’@!
Happy dance happening here...it’s Friday!!!!
So much crapola happening, but the Immigration Bill is truly a disaster for ALL times. G-d Bless Sen. Ted Cruz—he is about the only one working against this. I hope he runs in 2016.
Hey, Atlas Shrugged Part II is on Netflix...
I’ll have to check out our farmers market. I’d like to start canning. I did pepper jelly (first time) and it was way too sweet and didn’t taste like peppers. I’m going to try a different recipe.
Thanks for the heads up! Is it streaming or dvd only?
Morning! Yep, FRIDAY! I have to mow the lawn tonight or tomorrow morning Blech! Oh well, it has to be done, and I need the exerise anyway. No use complaining about it!
Catholic schools volunteering for common core?!!! What is wrong with them?
Aha!! Yesterday, finishing connecting 8 of my 275 gallon rainwater tanks together and ran 60 feet 1 1/2 PVC pipe into
the garden attaching a 50 foot hose to the end.. now I can water everything without hand carrying those watering cans.
Don’t ask me. The world’s gone crazy. I guess Catholic school will be out for future grandkids. Hopefully, the Catholic schools will come to their senses before I have grandkids old enough to go to school. Son and wife had talked about sending their kids to Catholic school or homeschooling. Looks like it will be homeschooling.
Hmmm I have cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, head lettuce and peppers... Don’t just love gardening!
Sounds wonderful AM! We have a very small garden, a garden hose will do the job.. We have mostly raised beds. They dry out relatively quickly, but we don’t have so many that they are unmanageable.
Do you hear the guy talking about Common Core? Outrageous!
It’s been so cold here. We have blossoms on the tomatoes, the zucchini are about five inches long, snow peas covered with blossoms and little peas coming along, leaf lettuce and romaine lettuce out the wahzoo, and we’ve been eating spinach. Got carrots, potatoes, brussels spouts, sweet potatoes, onions, lima beans and garlic growing. Yep, I love gardening! I’mstill pretty much an amateur, but improving every year!
Wow, that’s great! We have only 1 tomato plant and 1 zuchini plant. Both are doing well but it gets so cold here at night we probably won’t get anything until late next month.
Yikes!! I almost forgot the snow peas, pole beans and garlic!
“I hope he runs in 2016.”
I’m afraid he’ll be ruled out and destroyed by rove and co. My money says christie/rubio will be selected for us to run.
I’m tired of the GOP-e selecting our candidates for us.
