Pew poll finds Obama weathering scandal storm

These polls have bottomed out in value. The people they talk to and are impressed with them are already Obama supporters. What really maters is whether we can get the 5 % or so of sane people who refused to vote for Romney to come to the polls next year. NOTHING else matters and this is a very doable goal.

I pay little attention to polls.

I'm sure some are honest.. others are designed to validate a point.

Depending on WHO I interviewed I could produce a poll that said, EITHER the ECONOMY is BETTERING, or that the ECONOMY is WORSENING.

He leaves the country for weeks when stuff gets too hot for him. Less coverage of him personally in the news, stuff quiets down. Media gives cover while he’s gone.

Comes back and tries to shift focus on some new thing he wants to do, scandals are “bogus” and “old news” and “there’s no wrongdoing” and “republicans are just politicizing my policies”.
