"To bad we don’t have the media in our pockets to mock this jackass. He fouls up and no one sees. Quayle misspells Potato once and it is all over."

Trial lawyers do the same thing...holding their opposition to an infinitely perfect standard.

If you, the defendant, weren't clairvoyant, seeing the future and both predicting and preventing all possible harm to the plaintiff, then trial lawyers will demand that the jury "teach that bad man a lesson" with stiff punitive damages.

Same thing with the liberal news media for conservatives (even moderates). Even a minor mistake by a Republican is pounced on and pounded repeatedly...such as the news media and entertainment media continuously replaying President Ford's single stumble when he tripped once walking on stage.

In contrast, the news media "forgets" major missteps by Democrats such as promising to close Gitmo on the first day in Office, promising to be transparent, promising to create a special counsel to protect government whistleblowers, promising to not spy on Americans, promising to not use renditions, promising to only use public campaign funds, promising to cut unemployment below 6%, etc.

President Clinton burned kids alive at the Branch Davidian complex yet the news media acts today as if he was a saint...they can't even remember that Clinton started and waged the 1999 U.S. war against Serbia.

Our problem is we won’t fight fire with fire.

We are better than that somehow.
I say circle them wagons and knock this guy silly.

"they can't even remember that Clinton started and waged the 1999 U.S. war against Serbia. "

... without Congressional approval and without UN approval.
