REP. PAUL RYAN (R-WIS.): Not now, but in the future we're going to have labor shortages. We have 10,000 people retiring each and everyday in America when the Baby Boomers retire.

I hope Ryan doesn’t further disgrace Wisconsin by claiming he’s a Cheesehead.
The immigration bill gives a 13 year path to citizenship. It appear that during that time, they will not have to have Obamacare, which mean their employers don’t have to give them medical plans. Who do you think low skill employers are going to hire?
Si. Si. Si. No. Si.
4 out of 5 Mexican gardeners agree that you have strep throat.
Never trust a Yankee.
“The unemployed are mostly unskilled, low skilled, computer programmers etc.”
Try calling the unemployed tradesman in the building line by those descriptors.
They are also watching their wages being depressed by these hack job criminal invaders.
Slow path to progress for U.S. immigrants: 43% on welfare after 20 years
The study, which covers all immigrants, legal and illegal, and their U.S.-born children younger than 18, found that immigrants tend to make economic progress by most measures the longer they live in the U.S. but lag well behind native-born Americans on factors such as poverty, health insurance coverage and homeownership.
The study, based on 2010 and 2011 census data, found that 43 percent of immigrants who have been in the U.S. at least 20 years were using welfare benefits, a rate that is nearly twice as high as native-born Americans and nearly 50 percent higher than recent immigrants.

Abortions have mostly slowed blacks. Period. Illegalizing them would, for the most part, cause more crime and nonsense.
LLS
I never heard someone call computer programmers low skilled.
Ryan needs to go noodling.
No, we're NOT. Voting against Amnesty for illegals does not halt the normal VISA process for Immigrants who wish to apply and enter the nation legally.
They will pay our retirement. Anyone see any flaws in his plan?
Don't forget his moral framework ‘10 year balance budget resolution’ that cuts medicare not until 10 years later,.
Ryan is the conservative budget wizard boy wonder I was lectured here many times. Hows that working now?
The 20-some million un/under employed might disagree with Rep. Ryan.
[Where do they get this stuff? Do they just make it up as they go?]
Ryan — future labor shortage without illegals being legalized. He labeled them ‘economic’ necessities on Levin’s program yesterday.
Bush — illegals are fertile and the only ones who are capable of developing new businesses.
Rubio — illegals are needed to pay for border security.
In some previous commentaries, we need illegals to save Social Security and Mediare.
Deport Rubio...and Ryan
Amnesty Liberals say the stupidest things
Thats a valid debate. Ignoring criminals and the law is not a valid policy.
Paul Ryan has never even seen an illegal alien, his dumbass would be singing a different tune if a few thousand of them invaded his lily white neighborhood there in Wisconsin and shared the schools and the roads with his wife and kids .... he’ll never experience that but he will damn sure dump it on us ....POS
This country has traditionally invented labor saving tools to make up for any labor shortages. We have tomato pickers, cotton pickers, corn pickers, columbines (to harvest grains), rice planters, potato diggers, etc.
We continue to improve industrial productivity every year. Our administrative productivity improvements have been incredibly phenomenal.
We are well on the way to being the world's lowest cost producer in everything. Why would we want more peeps who have no high level skills
That way you can ultimately have one guy come to work in an enormous factory, sit down in a nice captain of industry chair and an equally large desk ~ and wait out his 6.5 hours 3 days a week!
