The Left has succeeded in planting enough RINO's in the Republican Party that the Conservative base (and Principled Republicans who see through their Voting Records just what they don't represent), that the Conservative Ideals are long-gone.

If you vote for the RINO; you lose. If you vote for a 3rd Party or Independent; you lose. Democrats will control the Majority now for the rest of your lifetime, as the Amnesty will take care of that.

Fend for yourself, protect your family, and do what you must, but be assured, America is gone.

Just out here clingin’ to our guns and bibles...

Whatta laugh. I actually know allegedly intelligent libs with that stereotype embedded in their brains.

Unfortunately it seems to be the same stereotype carried in the brains (sic) of the RINO’s in Congress.

They can’t be embarrassed about me. I left the GOP.

It was a bit surprising to hear Charles Krauthammer come out in strong support of the Tea Party tonight on Fox - usually he seems to be with the Respectable Right who find any person or group who speak out forcefully for what they believe embarrassing and troublesome, but Charles actually seemed to be pulling for a reconciliation and accommodation by the mainstream Republicans and the Tea Partiers......

Limbaugh has woke up in the last year or two to what really is going on. I’d say half or more republican politicians not only don’t care, they don’t understand conservative principles.

Iow, they are pos politicians. Stupid by definition.

The party is toast. It died when Reagan finished his second term. Anthony Wiener could beat whoever the RNC Elite put up in 2016.

As a conservative I'm embarrassed of what the GOP has become to the point that I would never identify myself with them.

They are Whigs.

“about the Republican Party being embarrassed of its base..”

I’m embarrassed that RINO traitors are infesting my country. How about you maggots leave now. It’s better that you do it than leaving the arrangements to me.

they’re embarrassed of their base and wouldn’t mind at all if the base left the Republican Party, even if it meant losing a couple of elections...

They'll lose more than a couple of elections. That is, after all, what "base" means. The truth of the matter is that party leaders have become entirely intimidated by and besotted with the all-pervasive liberal culture within the Beltway-Boston-Chicago axis and personally identify more with the wealthy, ruling-class, East Coast mentality than with the citizens they purportedly represent. Given a choice they vote liberal themselves. Why try to hide it?

The caricature has so taken hold on that weird groupthink that appears to possess the Republican party "experts" that John F. Kerry's "kin ah git me a huntin' lahcense heah?" level of condescension passed by without a hint of the derision it thoroughly deserved because that's just how fatally out of touch Republican party leadership really is as well, and has been for a very long time now.

Time for a flush.

-- It's either embarrassment or dislike --
It's dislike. The sentiment is mutual.

This member of the base is ashamed, embarrassed, and damned angry at Republican leadership,

People like Mccain, Graham, Hatch, Boehner, make me want to puke.

A few years ago when talk radio was on the rise (nationally and locally), then the Tea Party started to gain strength, I had a feeling this ship could be righted.

But I’m not so sure today. At least with out some draconian political moves. The choices for remedy seem severe and few.

I used to think the Republican leadership was just stupid.

But no one could get elected to public office and be as stupid as they pretend to be.

Stupid is random. Stupid decisions are like the flip of a coin.

The Republican leadership has followed a very specific pattern. They have done everything possible to hurt conservatives and to hurt moral, patriotic, hard working Americans. They have done everything to curry favor with the Washington establishment and the leftists who control the Democrat Party. They have refused to stand up for principle or for the people who make this country work.

Most Washington Republicans are working with the Democrats to destroy this great country. They pretend every once in a while to oppose the Democrats but it is phony.

I don’t trust them.

“F” the GOP they(the Leadership cadre) have decided that they prefer the taste of donkey dick to the notion of standing up for The United States & defending it from the slings & arrows of the other party that hasn’t been loyal to this country since before 1861. (Think Fort Sumter )

The Republican Party trying to out-Dem the Dems is like the Easter Bunny trying to be bigger than Santa Claus.

Watched Myth Romney debate Fat Teddy and thought, "Man he is going to wipe the floor with that POS Kennedy."

What happened was Myth trying to out-Kennedy the worst Kennedy of them all.

And now I am watching the same thing happen to the entire eff-ing party all over the country!

Back later....I am on my way to Registrar's office to change my party affiliation to TEA or anything but R or D!

Rush is right on many things, but his apologies for the Bush family for so long have weakened his conservative credentials.
