We're....we're talking about a fictional comic book character, right?
Actually, Superman is an illegal alien from Krypton.
LOL- except for taking my little daughter to a few Disney movies, the last time i saw a non-kids movie was 2000...further proof i made the right decision not giving these morons as little money as possible...
RE: Actually, Superman is an illegal alien from Krypton.
I find it ironic that what comes from his home planet is what actually kills him.
Snyder had to say that to work for the fags who run Warner and DC.
I thought Man of Steel interesting but boring at the end.
Same knocking down buildings over and over.
Well Gee and all that ....
The first time someone gets knocked through a building, it's cool. The second time, you get the point....they're super strong and virtually indestructible, unlike our buildings. After the umpteenth time, you're resting your face in your palm, just waiting for the credits.
Ironically, THIS illegal alien was actually arrested and returned (sorry, spoiler.)
Exactly!
There was a time when Hollywood was on America’s side.
Lately, I find myself watching my Frank Capra collection much more often.
Superman worked, didn’t take government handouts, and supported Truth, Justice, and the American way.
Undocumented Democrats, took government handouts, and supported deception, injustice, and the Mexican way.
Were there comic books for girls? Is that where Sex & the City comes from, liberated Supergirls who can shop relentlessly and have frequent empty sex with seemingly no harm to their being?
I lost interest in going to theaters when I realized my ticket purchase was supporting the destruction of our nation.
I used to go to Blockbuster and purchase previously viewed movies for $5 bucks.
Now I purchase the digital versions on iTunes. I want to know what’s going on in popular culture.
I think it’s important to do it.
“The film is open about its religious aspects and has the kind of conservative leanings that we haven’t seen in major blockbusters since The Dark Knight Trilogy.”
From The Chronicles of Narnia to Captain America simply saying “There’s only one God, Ma’am, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that”, every time the movie industry pays homage to the religious traditions that made this country, it’s a huge success. Unfortunately, Hollywood is run by people who jettisoned their Judeo-Christian heritage a couple of generations ago. I don’t like Superman, and never have, but I will be going to see Man of Steel this weekend.
This was a great movie despite the Director’s stupid statement. The comment is particularly dumb because the actor who plays the American-raised Superman, Henry Cavill, is actually British.
Hollywood does not produce tough guys from American anymore, only foreigners who pretend to be American.
I don’t see too many movies at the theater. Occasionally, I’ll see a foreign film or art film where the director is trying to do something interesting. But most Hollywood films are PC garbage.
I guess it’s okay for Superman to be American, if we have a traitor in office. Good to know.
Perhaps he can let George Soros, Bill Ayers, and Islamic adherents pull his strings too.
