The IRS has hypocritically ignored the Constitution, having targeted groups whose names included what America once stood for: patriotism, freedom, and the Constitution. This will be emphasized on June 20, when Judicial Watch, the people's watchdog over the government, holds a public panel discussion with some of those who were victimized. American Thinker interviewed Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch's president, and some of those who were harassed and abused by the IRS.
Fitton is not surprised by the Obama administration's actions and regards them as a continual Democratic tactic. He told American Thinker how, during the entire Clinton presidency, his group was targeted via numerous audits. He sees this latest scandal as déjà vu, since conservative groups "were put in a box by the IRS and could not do the actions they planned on doing because their activities were curtailed significantly. This is a scandal for the ages. We all saw in the last few years that the Tea Party became inactive and now we know why.
All I know is, the IRS engaged in a massive suppression of perceived political opposition to the president at a time that was very important for his re-election campaign. This is government suppression and oppression. The movement was coming out, and they were stopped by this administration. This is about Obama's role as chief executive and his refusal to take responsibility." Freedom's Watch, a 501(c)(4), was established in 2007 to counter MoveOn.org and to help with public relations in support of the Iraq troop surge. Its former president and CEO, Bradley Blakeman, said Lois Lerner of the IRS from 2009 to 2011 targeted him, the organization, and the donors.

Tea Party gone inactive? Not from what I’ve seen. In fact they’ve stepped it up.
How are they "hypocrites"?
They are fully consistent in the goal of advancement and in sustaining government power over the individual.
“The chains of the Constitution” should bind the mischief of government.
—Thomas Jefferson
Objectively true, yes, and the belief held by conservatives.
But those in the IRS are all about the advancement of power.
Those who seek government employ are inherently of this mindset.
There’s nothing “hypocritical” about their behavior. Now, they may LIE about their agenda, but they adhere to it none the less. Their behavior is entirely consistent with their belief system.
Our turn will come.
Conservatives don’t gravitate toward government jobs,
and we, by principle, don’t use those positions of power to thwart political enemies.
This is an inherent part of leftist ideology.
The IRS is Yet Another Government Agency (YAGA) that is staffed by leftist union members and corrupt new world order statists at that the top, who tend to lean left.
The IRS orgininal and constant purpose is to collect new world order’s interest and principal payments at the point of a gun from US taxpayer debt slaves, and to be a tool of tyranny to intimidate and seek revenge on those who would refuse submission to new world order monopolistic, immoral statist policies.
That’s what democrats don’t understand... it’s not difficult to do what they do... all it takes is a total lack of ethics.
Reminds me of lowlife drug dealers bragging about how they could be captains of industry ‘cuase they ‘run’ a business... If that business was legal - the competition from the real players would drive them out - they wouldn’t have a chance... This is the same. If we decided to compete on the dems ‘corrupt’ playing field we could do it with ease.
The Gestapo? The KGB? Worse?
Can't come soon enough in my opinion.
