Yes he did. He also promoted Rubio. They get the backing of conservatives then they turn, once elected. These two let all of us down.

Paul Ryan wasn’t elected to anything that he wasn’t already elected to. Remember? He’s been in the House, from Wisconsin, for a long time, and since 2010 the chairman of the House Budget Committee. He lost for VP when Romney lost to Obama.

At the time that happened, this immigration disaster bill had not even appeared on the radar screen.

More proof of why voting for the "lesser of two evils" doesn't cut it anymore. They all turn into John McCain at some point (though Ryan and Rubio pretended to be strong conservatives when they were elected).
