I'm surprised the Chinese didn't try to get a license to produce the Myasishchev M-55 high-altitude reconnaissance plane so it could "spy" on Taiwan from 60,000 feet at oblique angles with cameras and ELINT/SIGINT equipment. Here's a picture of that plane in Russian service:

Because the Russians know the Chinese would use it against them or produce export copies of it and undermine arms sales.

The Chinese did this with a Russian fighter when the supposedly purchased 10 test copies and reverse engineered them into a new Chinese fighter
