Rubio Stares Down the Right Over 'Undocumented Democrats'
National JournalBy Tim Alberta | National Journal 5 hrs ago
Marco Rubio was not amused.
The senator from Florida had listened patiently as a panel of hand-picked conservatives, lined up across a long table at the front of the room, took turns speaking about the prospects of immigration reform. When discussion finally opened to the anxious, overflowing crowd of lawmakers at the Republican Study Committee's immigration summit, several were quick to critique their pro-reform colleagues Rubio the headliner among them.
Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., argued they should be discussing a report by the Heritage Foundation's Robert Rector on the costs of amnesty. Rep. Scott Garrett, R-N.J., raised concerns about implementing an e-Verify system. But it was Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Texas, who got under Rubios skin.
Referencing a Jay Leno one-liner, Burgess questioned fellow conservatives about the wisdom of giving citizenship to "11 million undocumented Democrats." Laughter, some of it nervous, spread throughout the room. But not everyone found Burgess' crack funny. According to several people who attended the June 5th gathering, Rubio glared at Burgess.

Anyway he deserved it..............
America has the most open immigration policies of any country in the entire globe.
Bar none.
Yet Rubio backs, MORE LENIENT policies, as we shed jobs from the American economy?
Rubio no. Just no.
Damned Chirpers. /s
Yeah, I bet he did.
As soon as he began being a pimp for this ridicules law, I fired off an email to him citing in non confrontational terms why I disagreed 100% on his backpeddling on the border issue. Not a peep in response. Usually I get back 2 or 3 messages, not this time. I bet every one of those anti amnesty e mails got tossed especially those like mine which said don’t come calling for any more money.
Actually, it’s 30 MILLION undocumented socialists.
What could go wrong....
Slow path to progress for U.S. immigrants: 43% on welfare after 20 years
The study, which covers all immigrants, legal and illegal, and their U.S.-born children younger than 18, found that immigrants tend to make economic progress by most measures the longer they live in the U.S. but lag well behind native-born Americans on factors such as poverty, health insurance coverage and homeownership.
The study, based on 2010 and 2011 census data, found that 43 percent of immigrants who have been in the U.S. at least 20 years were using welfare benefits, a rate that is nearly twice as high as native-born Americans and nearly 50 percent higher than recent immigrants.

so more amnesty from republicans helps our country how again?
My point too.
Plus if they make these illegals full US citizens (with MORE rights than us because they are a official 'minority') then what does that it say about what they think of us?
Rubio is playing out a pre-written script that Obama gave him, his mission is to get this bill to Obama's desk.
Hey Rubio how bout fairness to all the Americans born here that are looking for work? Instead of bringing in cheap labor let real Americans find work.
Rubio is a scumbag.
The STOOPID party has died. Good riddance.
Rubio has shown his true colors. La Raza first and screw the USA! Go to hell Marco.
Are they worse than the wacko birds?
Marco’s just another ethnic hustler trying to advance his own career.
Without an effective conservative opposition, we have no voice. A third party seems to be the only way to go at this time. Maybe it could gather up enough conservatives and angry Republicans to make a difference.
Ann Coulter is right. If the GOP is this stupid, it deserves to die.
Agreed. The STOOPID party is at best a very faint hope.
“The Wacko Birds”: That would be a good name for a band.
RINO-ubio himself is an undocumented dim-bulb-crat.
I think you’ve nailed it. Marco is the new Jesse Jackson-type Latino race hustler.
While I admire Rubio for taking on a tough issue (not the toughest and most cruical IMO), I’d like to ask him...
When the executive branch picks and chooses which laws to enforce, and which laws to ignore, what good are laws, and why the belief that new laws will ever be enforced?
‘We’re never going to win another presidency unless we pass amnesty,’”
..........................................................
And you damned sure are not going to win one if you do.
You stupid SOB
