I see a lot of articles like this about Texas. It’s a major reason I don’t see Texas as a viable place to move.

Yes, it is best that you stay in Colorado. Texas is just full of problems like this story and anyone from Colorado, California, New York and Minnesota would NOT be happy here! That is if you like where you live now. ;)
