Yes, it is best that you stay in Colorado. Texas is just full of problems like this story and anyone from Colorado, California, New York and Minnesota would NOT be happy here! That is if you like where you live now. ;)

Local law enforcement in rural Texas is NOT like this. Most of the local LEO’s are friends of the citizens. Most do an excellent job of handling without incident minor and major problems.
