My Mom greeted me with “my mouse died”. New battery...all fixed!

I woke up this morning to a blinking clock and a blank screen computer. Laptop was ok on its battery. I have a new UPS, but have not plugged my computers into it. Must do that tonight, as the power went off again before I left for work. Everything seems to be ok, but I don’t like wondering it I will have a computer or not. I can retreat to my iPad, but I can’t do graphics. I want my computer to just work, always, without issue.

Is that too much to ask? LOL!
