Q: General Ham, why were you relieved of duty?
Did you attempt at any time to prepare or send help to Benghazi?
If you did not prepare to send any help, are you saying that you personally accept responsibility for the deaths there?
If you did prepare to send help, who stopped you?
excellent questions.
p.s. how did you end up 50/50
on personal responsibility issues?

Oh Yeh. Those are my questions. I would point blank ask him if he was relieve by his 2nd in command when he tried to send help after he was given a stand down order.
Who ever started this rumor? Gen. Carter was not relieved of duty. Never, as far as I can tell.
It's generally a bad idea to ask such a question unless you know the answer will damage the Regime.
General Ham was in command of AFRICOM up through this past April 5, when General David M. Rodriguez took over.
Ham told Chafetz that he had a unit ready to go,no request was made to move that unit,he decided to move that unit and was relieved of command,Panetta said the Ham ,Dempsey and himself decided NOT to go,someone is not being honest.
