IINM, when BJ Klintoon made speeches at US Military events, he had them all disarmed; either firearms collected and stored by SS, or mags and ammo removed and collected, until after he left. Wish I could find the article which revealed it.

I knew a guy who served in the South Pacific in WW II who said they were all disarmed before MacArthur was brought out to speak to them.

This President follows the same practice at any military ceremonies. I believe they remove the bolts from the rifles.
