Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is bullish about the chances of an immigration reform bill passing the Senate — and he says Republicans need to pass it to avoid falling further into a "demographic death spiral" that could hurt their chances in the next two big election cycles.
"If we don't pass immigration reform, if we don't get it off the table in a reasonable, practical way, it doesn't matter who you run in 2016," Graham said on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday.

The minute the Immigration Bill passes, its negative effects will begin to be felt, because new floods of immigrants will be crossing our open borders to receive all the benefits of American citizenship.
Our schools, hospitals, roads, prisons, welfare rolls, etc., will become more and more crowded and the quality of life in America will deteriorate.
And it will become increasingly clear to voters that the only way to halt this decline is for Congress to get serious about controlling our borders — something Lindsey Graham and his friends conspicuously failed to do this year.
How popular will Senator Graham be with the folks in South Carolina after they’ve been forced to wait in ever-burgeoning lines at hospitals, unemployment offices, etc., thanks to Lindsey Graham’s obsession with helping the Republicans win future elections?
If the folks in South Carolina have been paying attention, Lindsey Graham will never win another election there.
