Sad to say, but the Democrats DO take care of their own. No matter how vile the person or the act. Maybe that's why the party has so much loyalty. "If you've been a good soldier, we'll protect your back."

The Republicans have a knee jerk reaction to clean house if their members are not "perfect." The Democrats just laugh off or ignore the scandals and say "let's just move on."
