This happened last Sunday and it's just being reported on? And all this trouble just to spray paint a message on a White House wall? Something ain't right here. Was this a crazed lone wolf or some kind of "dry run"?

That’s probably the reason why it’s just being reported. They wanted to completely vet him to see if there were any possible connections to any other groups.
He was probably hoping that doing this would put him on the news and get his message out.
