The Dems having the majority, it would seem they could pass this easily, and certainly with just a few Republican flippers tossed in.

Well, if you count Boehner, Ryan, etc. then in effect the Dems may indeed have a majority in the House.

If the House (as Boehner suggests) passes some parts of "immigration reform" in chunks and the big "Chuck Schumer Republican" senate bill gets merged in a bicameral conference, and within that committee, each house has to pass the bill up for a vote to get the approval of the committee. If that happens, the new bill goes to each house for a vote? Not sure but I think so.

But the pro-amnesty votes never seem to get picked off (in fact McCain and company are acting a Dem agents), while the anti-amnesty votes seem to cave naturally.

Well I misspoke didn’t I. The Dems don’t have the majority in the House. Oops.

Still, you get our side peeling off to vote with the Democrats and it really doesn’t matter much if we have the majority or not.

RINOs rule...
