Complete Headline: Thousands Of Firms Trade Confidential Data With The US Government In Exchange For Classified Intelligence
The rabbit hole just got deeper. A whole lot deeper.
On Sunday we predicated that "there's one reason why the administration, James Clapper and the NSA should just keep their mouths shut as the PRISM-gate fallout escalates: with every incremental attempt to refute some previously unknown facet of the US Big Brother state, a new piece of previously unleaked information from the same intelligence organization now scrambling for damage control, emerges and exposes the brand new narrative as yet another lie, forcing even more lies, more retribution against sources, more journalist persecution and so on."
And like a hole that just gets deeper the more you dug and exposes ever more dirt, tonight's installment revealing one more facet of the conversion of a once great republic into a great fascist, "big brother" state, comes from Bloomberg which reports that "thousands of technology, finance and manufacturing companies are working closely with U.S. national security agencies, providing sensitive information and in return receiving benefits that include access to classified intelligence, four people familiar with the process said."
The companies extend far wider than the legacy telcos, such as Verizon, that launched the entire NSA-spying scandal a week ago: "Makers of hardware and software, banks, Internet security providers, satellite telecommunications companies and many other companies also participate in the government programs. In some cases, the information gathered may be used not just to defend the nation but to help infiltrate computers of its adversaries."

Have you ever seen the info a Lexis-nexis search can generate? It’s pretty much your life story...
Excellent graphic.
DRUDGE has it now ...this should be in breaking news
You have to call Ebay and they perform a very sophisticated and deep background check on you. They will ask you some pretty surprising questions that you dont think anyone would know and information you had long just about forgot.
It doesn’t support your claims. They asked to verify past addresses lived at, which is available on any credit report without any NSA support.
Sorry, if you want to make the claim, then tell me what questions you allege they are asking, and what information they have that’s not on your credit record.
To avoid US oversight, data is stored offshore.
It’s UNFLIPPINGREAL

Think about all those updates you get from Microsoft or Java, etc. You have no clue what you downloaded into your computer. They have full access to everything and have had for years.
I will not tell you the questions but, three of them were something I would not think anyone would know off a simple credit report.
What High School did you go to? What college did you go to?
One of the questions was multiple choice and where I lived at two different addresses more than twenty years ago.
Now, understand I didn’t get my 1st car loan until 6 years ago and the only reason I got it was the car I was driving died, right in front of the dealership as I was passing it and I needed a car right then and didn’t want to cash some investments for it, which have taken some time to convert anyway.
The only way they could have known those addresses was either from a phone bill or cable bill.
I never applied for a loan during that time and didn’t have one in place.
The other questions I’ll leave out.
The point is where does the information come from? The NSA doesn’t create information or markers in your life. They collect it.
What are their sources? Telephone, cell phone, cable bills? Medical records? Credit reports? ISP’s? Airline tickets? Hotel stays? The list goes on and on.
I should also note that one of the houses a friend asked me to move in while he went to Florida so he could help his dad with some business and paid him a modest rental fee.
No contract and I believe I paid the cable bill each month as it came in and at the time I had a car phone, which I had won while at a telecom conference and didn’t have a landline.
Heck, I even just kept paying the electric bill when it came in.
So I don’t know how they knew that address which also wasn’t listed on any job application. I had been at my job some 5 years and never informed of any address changes.
What are their sources? (Anything on your credit report)
Telephone, cell phone, cable bills? (Yes, from your credit report)
Medical records? (No, not on your credit report)
Credit reports? (Yes)
ISPs? (No, unless they report to the credit agencies)
Airline tickets? (No)
Hotel stays? (No)
When we agree to these firms “terms” we agree to whatever they want to do.
On the snooping scandal, the government has releases a bunch of postings Snowden made over the past eight years. Thus proving what he said is true.
