Political Correctness: A member of the U.S. Army Band says he's being reprimanded for having the wrong bumper stickers on his car, serving politically incorrect food at a party and reading books by conservative authors.
It seems what we read isn't just a question reserved by the IRS for its "special scrutiny" of Tea Party groups. Apparently in the U.S. Army the wrong answer to this question can lead to disciplinary action and charges by your superiors.
Master Sgt. Nathan Sommers, a 25-year Army veteran and conservative Christian based at Fort Myer in Washington, D.C., is facing formal charges — filed just one day after he told Fox News that he was being reprimanded for his conservative religious beliefs, the bumper stickers on his car and his choice of reading material.
Sommers appeared on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News along with Fox News radio host Todd Starnes, who broke the story. Starnes said when he called military officers to verify the details of Sommers' story, they raised the ante from mere reprimands to full-blown Article 15 (nonjudicial punishment) charges.
As Starnes reports, Sommers' troubles began last April when he was told to remove pro-Republican, anti-Obama bumper stickers on his car. The stickers read: "Political Dissent is NOT Racism," "NOBAMA," "NOPE2012" and "The Road to Bankruptcy is Paved with A**-Fault."
"The types of stickers on your car were creating an atmosphere detrimental to morale and were creating unnecessary workplace tension," Sommers' superior officer wrote in an Army document obtained by Fox News.
Was the Army afraid Sommers might shoot up his base, shouting "Don't Tread On Me"? If so, they didn't give Maj. Nidal Hassan this kind of scrutiny before he shot up Fort Hood shouting "Allahu akhbar!"

Obviously they already are.
First Napolitano places all military veterans in a sack and says they are all terrorists, now they cannot even place a bumper sticker on their car.

Speaking of them, what is Kirsten Gillibrand's problem? Where did this "sexual abuse scandal" come from all of a sudden?
And, is it me, or have the obamanites declared war on America from within?
Who is his supervisor? Who is the Army Band Commander? (These facts are not military secrets. Nor are they irrelevant.)
These individuals deserve “recognition” for their excellent “leadership.”
If it were the other way around, you know the Left would have put their names out there as part of the discussion.
