Well, many of us built those systems. We know what they are capable of and what they are used for. We’ve known for decades this wasn’t going to end well. It went from targeting those that presented themselves as dangers to this nation to political tools, but we all knew that is where such systems always end up, in the hands of politicians. It starts within the system, with people seeing the political power such information can bring, then finding small ways to provide the information for personal gain, such as promotions. Then those small advantages become larger until it reaches the Whitehut and Congress and then the Generals and civilian executives in charge are all hand picked based on politics and the information and its collection systems are compromised politically.
It was always our biggest fear. It has happened.
He should be subject to a court of law to answer for his actions where I (hopefully as a juror) will vote to acquit him of any wrongdoing!

I am thankful that he told that the government is spying on me/ of violating the Fourth Amendment. I hope he proves it for those who still think that their government has most integrity at this moment in history. I hope they don’t murder him. I hope he gets asylum or if he is brought back, he has a fair trial. The NSA now has lots of explaining to do as far as I am concerned. I know they are after him and will crush him. So, I side with the guy at this time. I see why he ran, he’s trying to stay alive.
