I can find no tangible evidence, let alone proof, that there is any intent at the federal level to seriously control the Southern border.
This is what makes this issue so infuriating.
Any claim that this bill has anything to do with 'solving' the illegal immigration problem is a patent lie. A flat, bold faced ^$# damned lie.
Anyone in the GOP who would like to have a future in public office needs to run like a scalded cat from it.
