During an interview with FOX Business, former Rep. Ron Paul explained that he was concerned about the well-being of National Security Agency whistle-blower Edward Snowden.
Im worried about somebody in our government might kill him with a cruise missile or a drone missile, Paul explained. I mean we live in a bad time where American citizens dont even have rights and that they can be killed, but the gentlemen is trying to tell the truth about whats going on.
Paul added that there were no signs of Snowden defecting to a foreign country, which meant that he was not really a threat.....

He was hired by the NSA and given access to information and national security secrets that folks far above his pay grade have deemed to be in our national security to be keep secret. Since when is it in "our national security" to trash the 4th Amendment and monitor the private communication of 300 million America citizens? That is "treason" against We The People.
Moreover, WHO is really threatened by Snowden's revelations? Would it be the statists, globalists, and fascists whose "secrets" expose them as criminals who use NSA apparatus as an instrument of coercion and blackmail?

Lets compile a list of Traitors currently active in Fed. Govt and see where Snowden ranks.I second that motion.

Isn’t Alex Jones in Texas?

Sorry. Snowden is a traitor just like Manning... You should be sorry. There's no comparison. You're supporting the trashing of the 4th Amendment while endorsing a rogue government which intimidates its citizenry. You'd make a great over-officious State Trooper.

One difference is that Manning haphazardly exposed our people and foreign contacts, blew their covers and put them at risk. Some of of those have most likely already been killed or imprisoned. Who has Snowden put at risk outside of those persons working for the Obama administration who have been lying to congress? And what happens to people who lie to congress and the public in the Obama administration... they are promoted due to their loyalty.Excellent rebuttal in its entirety.

He exposed the PROCESS not documents.Succinct point that is crucial.

The question is whether he put US National Security or at risk. That must always be the question. He did ..he is a traitor.

He broke his oath of employment. Real heros don’t run. They stay to face the consequences. Obama hatred is clouding the minds of conservatives.

To: USS Johnston
He stole classified documents.

Nothing says "patriotic commitment to civil liberties" like threatening to defect to China.
To: Alaska Wolf
And your point is what exactly?

Then why doesn’t he come home to face the consequences if he did nothing wrong?

Alex has bullied the government and accused them of all different types of crime and as far as I know he is still alive and broadcasting from Texas.
To: dfwgator
very well put but what even stuns me is how some fall for their diversion, they would rather attack thus guy, keep raising the issue of him going to Hong Kong , like he would stay in America after ratting out obama or they call him traitor with no knowledge that he has stolen .

Has he disclosed classified intelligence to which he had top secret clearance? I don't know. Did he steal any? Apparently not. He hasn't fled to China, either.

There is no need to "disappear" someone who most people believe is the embodied definition of the word "kook". Yes, but he does have his kook followers. He's not the only kook spewing anti government bile over the airwaves and on the internet. I haven't heard of any of them "disappearing" either.

Seriously? When you want go have thoughtful discussion about the thread topic, let me know. Otherwise, don’t waste my time.
