John Boehner Knocks Obama IRS Targeting Defense as ‘Inconceivable'

It’s “inconceivable” that President Obama was unaware that the IRS was targeting conservative groups, House Speaker John Boehner said today.

“It would be inconceivable in my operation that my staff would know it and I wouldn’t,” the Ohio Republican told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America.”

“It just doesn’t pass the straight-face test. How could – how can your chief of staff – your general counsel know, and you not know?”

Obama has said that he first found out about the outcome of an inspector general audit when the report was released publicly, but his aides say they were informed that a report was forthcoming weeks earlier.

Boehner would not say whether he believes Cincinnati employees were directed by the White House.

“I don’t know where it was directed from,” Boehner said.

Ok ... This is a start. Then ... What are you going to do about it Boehner? If you really believe it was inconceivable that Obama knew then are you expecting Obama to admit it? Fat chance. this needs to be thoroughly investigated by an independent counsel.

Cantor isn’t any better than Boehner. They are playing good cop, bad cop.

It appears the GOP wants conservatives gone. In a new party on the right where they plan to isolate, marginalize and demonize us from both flanks: the Dems & GOP.

He has to be the weakest Speaker of the House in the history of America.

I don’t think that means what he thinks it means

Boehner certainly is the most selfish Speaker ever. And that is saying something.

Boehner missed the time slot again.

Leaker Edward Snowden has knocked the IRS scandal back into obscurity.

A hard core conspiracist might think this Obama and Holder set the leak up as a “Wag The Dog” scam to draw attention away from Beghazi, the IRS scandal and Holder’s ongoing racism, lying and law breaking.

If they did, it worked even better than Bill Clinton’s bombing of an empty asprin factory.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I'll give him credit for setting forth the obvious conclusion, which is something nobody else on the federal payroll has done to date, insofar as I am aware.

Having said that...his statement and $1.99 will get you a shot of 5-Hour Energy at the local convenience store.

The Republican establishment wants to be a Dem-lite party. They want nothing to do with conservatism. What are we to do? Need a third party or stay home...

The beltway GOP has declared war on the middle class. We need to reply with political warfare on incumbency and the beltway ruling class.

That might involve a tactical alliance with some Libertarian leaning Dems. Distasteful but the most important thing now is getting rid of the Dem/GOP duopoly.

2016 is going to be VERY interesting. I am convinced the GOP doesn’t want to clean up the kenyan’s mess. They are throwing the next couple elections and thinking long term. We need to do that also.
