University of Chicago (UC) administrators permanently removed pews from an 88-year old chapel on campus in order to accommodate Islamic prayers, according to a local news report.
Chicago NPR affiliate, WBEZ news, reported on May 23, the pews, which are now part of display at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago, were “removed in order to provide Muslim students a place to pray.”
Literature describing the artwork that was created by UC Director of Arts and Public Life Theaster Gates, also describes the removal of the pews as symbol of religious tolerance.
“The pews were recently removed from the chapel in order to offer Muslim students a place to pray, a symbolic gesture of religious tolerance,”

...but their teachings hold that once a space is worshipped in by muzzies, that becomes sacred Islamic property forever.
The muslims are still pissed about losing Europe a few centuries ago.

In Spain, muzzies are not only simmering but boiling over since the Iberian peninsula was for centuries under Moorish occupation. To muzzies, all of Spain (al-Andaluz to them) is stolen property but they are focusing their irredentist ambitions on the Cathedral of Cordoba which was once a mosque.
There have been several violent attempts by muzzies to occupy the cathedral and the church is now under full time police oversight. Spain’s muzzie problem does not get the same amount of attention as that in U.K. or France, but there are far more malevolent forces at work.
Spain belongs to Islam and the muzzies want it back. Right now.

Islam accepts no “tolerance” by other faiths/members of said faiths.
Islam is committed to destruction of all other faiths and imposition of a One World Islamic government based upon Sharia law.
They also have to have a small substructure that points to Mecca. I forget what it is called but the whole mosque has to be situated so that this *altar* which it isn’t, has to be oriented toward Mecca. How are they going to handle that?
You know, the federal government seems to be moving in the direction of promoting one religion over another, doesn’t it?
