You know what? I’ve been stopped at roadblocks here in my county , oh I’m guessing, I’ve been driving 35 years, probably 75 times? Could be less, could be more. In one weekend about a year ago, I was stopped 4 times at 3 different roadblocks within 2 miles of my house. And I live in a great neighborhood. And curiously, not one of them were or have been from a “tourism survey”

So what's the deal in Alabama? Aren't you a conservative state? My brother has a place in Gulf Shores that he drives to frequently from Illinois and he's never mentioned being detained at a roadblock.

Funny because I have the same opinion of you and your gang of paranoids.
I was stopped once in my county when a bad guy had broken out of prison and cops wanted to be sure he had not stopped one of our cars and gotten in. After I left that road block, I saw a man walking in the direction of the road but off it and he had his shirt off. Used my cell phone and called sheriff’s office to report the man. Any car that would have turned around to miss that road block would have been chased for sure.
I would not let anyone put a needle in my arm on the side of the road and would not let them swab my mouth. I wouldn’t know if all that was sterile, plus I own my body and they are not getting part of it.
