(CNSNews.com) House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on Thursday that health insurance premiums will go up under Obamacare because people who did not buy insurance before, and thus had no premium at all, will now be forced to buy insurance.
She also urged people to be optimistic about Obamacare.
You just see, Pelosi said. I mean be optimistic about it. It is a very, very exciting enterprise.

How much is her increase?
Another straw man argument from the party that lives by them.
Nancy, my dear, the issue isn't that people who had no insurance before Obamacare and thus were paying zero will now pay more than zero, and that's an increase.
The issue is that people who had insurance before will now be paying more for insurance.
And .. sadly .. no pitchforks will march in Washington ... drones, y’know .. and hey, it ain’t THAT bad .. y’know ?
This evil witch should just shut the hell up.
It’s only called the Affordable Care Act after all.
“Pelosi said on Thursday that health insurance premiums will go up under Obamacare because people who did not buy insurance before, and thus had no premium at all, will now be forced to buy insurance.”
That should make overall premiums go down! What planet is she from??
They sure acted against affordable healthcare, didn’t they?
Take your mandate and shove it.
If you are healthy then don’t buy the insurance. Get your employer, who has dropped you by now, to kick back the Roberts penalty/tax in the form of a Christmas bonus. if you get a catastrophic disease then enroll then, THEY HAVE TO TAKE YOU.
I refuse to buy insurance. They can’t force me.
The only health insurance I wanted, catastrophic care, she removed from the market.
'It is so exciting that now we have control over every facet of the peons' lives.'
How can any member of Congress who voted for ObamaCare — they were all Democrats — on the basis that their constituents’ healthcare costs would be LOWER, now stand idly by and allow their constituents’ healthcare costs to RISE?
It’s time for the Republicans to re-introduce legislation to repeal ObamaCare now that it’s proven to be a fraud.
Its time for the Republicans to re-introduce legislation to repeal ObamaCare now that its proven to be a fraud.
No, they’ve done that numerous times. They need to stop funding it!
Nancy already knows that.
She is just spouting her usual BS.
you mean... the “affordable care act” will make healthcare more unaffordable???
/shocking!
I wonder who could have seen this coming?

Let's wait to find out what the rates. Plenty of time to deal with liberal liars and their willingness to manipulate and lie.
We don’t know the rates yet... it’s easy for liberal liars to make the rate artificially low to assist with midterm elections. We know they’re liars but let’s not assist them with their games.
There should be a law preventing INSANE people from holding office.
If there were such a law, there would be no DIMocRATs and a few Repubs in office. A good thing.
You can laugh on this one but it is coming. Going to Canada to look at homes.
The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, “Hello?”
“Mrs. Sanders, please.”
“Speaking.”
“Mrs. Sanders, this is Dr. Jones at St. Agnes Laboratory. When your husband’s doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too good.”
“What do you mean?” Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.
“Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer’s and the other one tested positive for HIV. We can’t tell which is which.”
“That’s dreadful! Can you do the test again?” questioned Mrs. Sanders.
“Normally we can, but the new health care system will only pay for these expensive tests just one time.”
“Well, what am I supposed to do now?”
“The folks at Obamacare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don’t sleep with him.”
