And so begins our annual 8th TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot. We are having a great time!
The Mom and crew are busy with family who stopped into town to attend the shoot and visit, so she asked me to get the thread started.
Look for comments and pictures over the next several days!
Top Shot is using the Schofield pistol right now on History Channel.
It was so nice to meet you as well. You seem like a really pleasant lady, and you probably have a lot of friends who care for you very much. You’re that nice.
You’re welcome for the soaps. I like making them, and I like giving them away. I’ll bring more to the next shoot.
Here’s hoping that you’re feeling much better by the time of the next one.
Yes, we will visit more when Bryan and I become porch monkeys, and we have some time for chin waggin’. [smiles]
Got to shoot a Thompson Contender in some wild ass cartridge this weekend.
Whata Hoot!
That is a badass mamma jamma!
We’re gonna hold you to that! :)
Holy harp! that was a hoot!
LOL!
Woo hoo!! Home safe and sound and all in one piece! Had a great trip, but it’s good to be home!
Welcome home! Thanks for checking in! It was such a pleasure to have you, Sheila and Chris with us again this year, and hope you’ll be back next year...wherever we land! :)
Yea! Sleep well in your own bed.
Happy to hear that y’all made it home without incident.
The shoot was great, and we were happy to go, but there’s no place like home.
[clicks ruby slippers’ heels together three times] Oh, I’m already home. [smiles]
I keep forgetting to tell you about the nice County Sheriff’s Deputy who stopped us just outside of Wimberley.
He is the most polite, most accommodating patrol deputy we’ve ever met, and he’s just as cute as a bug, young pup!
Anyway, we had a blown headlight, and the deputy let us off with a warning that won’t go on Bryan’s driving record.
From then on, we couldn’t drive at night, but Bryan replaced the bulb last evening, so all is well.
Dang! That deputy was so nice and polite to us. We were very polite toward him as well, but we are always polite to officers of the law.
Actually, of all the places we’ve visited, we both agree that the people in Texas are the nicest.
Even people from other states act nicer in Texas! [smiles]
Glad to hear y’all are home safe & sound. It was good to see all of you.
Hope to see y’all next year.
I’ve been challenged......
Are ya up to it? :)
