The National Security Agency and the FBI are tapping directly into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio, video, photographs, e-mails, documents and connection logs that enable analysts to track a persons movements and contacts over time.
The highly classified program, code-named PRISM, has not been disclosed publicly before. Its establishment in 2007 and six years of exponential growth took place beneath the surface of a roiling debate over the boundaries of surveillance and privacy. Even late last year, when critics of the foreign intelligence statute argued for changes, the only members of Congress who know about PRISM were bound by oaths of office to hold their tongues.

I thought the only oath they took was to uphold the constitution of the United States.
This nation is headed for a break-up that will make the dissolution of the former Soviet Union look like an amicable parting of ways.
Not only O, but all administrations, along with pliant judges and a Justice Dept that, unlike Nixon’s AG that stood for,law vs politics, are political in the extreme.

They are always careful not to mention O or his administration in these stories, whereas it was always “Nixon Administration,” “Reagan Administration” et al anytime they thought malfeasance or abuse was involved. Another propaganda technique.

Isn’t it a remarkable coincidence that all of this stuff is coming out at one time? Not to be too tinfoil about it, but what else is really going on?
If you can’t boycott these companies altogether, at least minimize as much as possible your financial contributions to the noose tightening around your own neck.
As bad as all of these stories are, I believe it is only skimming the surface as to what is REALLY going on behind the scenes.
So, maybe the smart meter phobes are onto something too?
This surveillance really worked. It stopped the Boston Marathon bombings. Oh wait.
