“With all due respect, Senator, I don’t think this is an appropriate setting for me to discuss [this issue],” Holder replied during a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing when Sen. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., asked if the executive branch was conducting surveillance that would give “unique leverage” over lawmakers.
Kirk replied that “the correct answer would be no, we stayed within our lane, and we did not spy on Members of Congress.”
Holder assured Kirk that “there is no intention to do anything of that nature — that is, to spy on Members of Congress or to spy on the Supreme Court.”

Kirk’s easily ten times better than Durbin. Durbin didn’t ask anything, did he?
There was a rumor that the Feds were looking into the adoption of Robert’s children. It was a foreign adoption and there were some reports irregulaities were being investigated. Some people were asking the question could Roberts had been swayed in return for this adoption investigation to be dropped?
It’s the kids. The Robert’s kids are adopted and under apparently unusual circumstances.
Isn’t it past time for small government?

The answer was was meant to intimidate and to plant fear. Holder was saying that you, Congress and SCOTUS, are being watched and any information we have on you can be used any way we want.
Sounds like bullseye.
Holder can lie with impunity. Obama will not hesitate to pardon him.
And this is exactly why elected representatives and any gov employees/hire should be of GOOD MORAL CHARACTER. And fighters. Combination “sleazeball” and “capon” go ill together. They can be either bought, bribed, blackmailed and/or threatened to do anything the master wants.
There were also rumors, even when he was picked for SCOTUS, of fagdom in his past.

I personally have been attempting to inform people government is and has been corrupt at all levels for decades now.... few paid attention..
Now we find it’s all true....

It certainly can;t be the gay thing, nobody cares about that these days. Affairs? Mark Sanford will be re-elected.
Shady business deals? Harry Reid does this DAILY and pays no price for it.
WHAT could there be that is so damn shocking that the GOP pu$$es out like this?

And really, if there was some serious dirt on a republican doing the investigation, it would have been leaked already.
