People who can walk into high positions who are worse replacements than their predecessors while Obama smirks at America which can’t stop it, can only do that when the position is not subject to Senate confirmation, such as Susan Rice as his National Security Advisor.
Having just read through the training material he wrote I’d suggest Carter would be just about the smartest appointee ever given a job by Obama ~ as it is he’s just a government staff lawyer.
