Calvert Country schools has always been a bit of a cesspool. When NAVAIR moved down there it raised the caliber of the students and the expectations, but the staff was as complacent and marginal as ever. Glad we got out of there.

The Navy folks come in here we welcome them, but most look down on residents of Southern Maryland as ignorant rednecks.
Many begin to love Southern Maryland and stay here to retire, many go back to wherever they came from thinking they are hurting the “caliber” by leaving. They aren’t.
