The deadline that passed was a "request". The next deadline is likely to be via a subpoena. They will face a judge if they fail to respond to that more formal request.
No damn consequences, ever. Congress has little in the way of enforcement powers unless the have a Justice Department willing to bring and prosecute contempt of Congress or perjury charges. With Holder as AG, this just isn’t going to happen, so it’s all just “a tale told by an idiot; all sound and fury, signifying nothing.” The Obama scandals will remain nothing more than bad theater and a distraction for the American people while the Obama government tyranny continues unchecked.
Consequences? What is that? Is that some kind of result for an action or inaction? Does Obama even know what this is? Has Congress been made aware of this term, ‘consequences’?
