A “weapons expert” with al-Qaeda is claiming that slain U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was killed by lethal injection after plans to kidnap him during the deadly Sept. 11 attacks in Benghazi went awry.
“The veracity of the claim by Abdallah Dhu-al-Bajadin, who was identified by U.S. officials as a weapons expert for al-Qaeda, could not be determined. However, U.S. officials have not dismissed the terrorist’s assertion,” The Washington Free Beacon’s Bill Gertz reports.
FBI spokeswoman Kathy Wright declined to comment on — but did not deny — the report due to the FBI’s ongoing investigation into the Benghazi attacks. “The FBI is not in a position to comment on anything specific with regard to the investigation,” she said.
In a March 14 online post on an al-Qaeda-linked website, Dhu-al-Bajadin made the explosive claim that Steven was given a lethal injection that wasn’t detected during the autopsy.

Yea, that scenario has been speculated about pretty much from the start. Not sure where it started, haven’t seen any evidence. But this new claim certainly supports it. When does a conspiracy theory go from conspiracy, to theory, to fact? If this story is true then the Blind Sheik story is moving ever closer to fact.
It’s a possibility. There were a lot of us talking about that scenario at the time.
But there are also other possibilities.
Whatever the case, they don’t want the people to know what went down.
right, has ANY media outlet even reported this fact yet? Seems here on FR we knew this happened within 24 hours of the start of the attack on the US in Benghazi. The proof was in the pictures, also with the Al Quaida animals filming this on their cell phones. We've heard NO ONE mention this yet.

Lethal injection does not fit the Islamist MO. With them it’s All Beheadings All The Time.

One of the keys to this theory is all of the noise about the Blind Sheikh at the time...they just went away after this incident.
To be clear, I did not originate this particular theory. But as I watched things unfold over the last six months, events and released information seem to support it more and more. It sounded “crackpot” when I first heard it.

I remember this video footage but have not been able to find it online again. Did any FReepers save this? I remember the Obama administration saying that the locals whisked Stevens away to the hospital, but exactly when would that have been? Before he was video’d inside an area building, where the locals were seen laughing and peering inside where Stevens was being tortured and beaten up? Has anyone seen any proof that Stevens was in the hospital?
Just a few days before the attack, the dems. at their convention praised Jimmy Carter.
Since Zippo has been compared to Carter starting right after the 2008 election. It was odd to say the least that the dems would tie Zippo and the most incompetent boob to ever walk in the WH together at the hip right before an election.
The repubs naturally made the comparison to Zippo and Peanuts as two peas in a pod.
Having Stevens taken hostage would be the ultimate confirmation Zippo was just like Carter.
It’s also a perfect opportunity for the dems. to blame the repubs with collaborating with the terrorist to make Zippo look like Carter.
well, well... looks like the “kidnap, ransom, exchange, blind sheik for ambassador” plan is starting to come out.
i’m guessing this is the other shoe the white hut is terrified will come out.
once exposed, it’s tough to see how any involved don’t end up in jail for conspiracy to commit murder
and i believe some of these people come from states with the death penalty.
Or, the plan was for Obama to order a rescue. Either way, it is bad.
The left runs our government like a bad movie screen play. Unfortunately, the muslim brotherhood have tight/close tie-ins in this administration. They could, with the help of this administration (getting rid of American security for the Ambassador and ordering the former SEALS and others to stand down during the attack), have coordinated the attempted kidnapping. With all the radical leftist muslims have to gain by having a radical sympathizing president Obama for 4 more years, I don’t doubt for a second that there are some that would sacrifice themselves to have made him look good militarily.
