That is a very good observation; everyone (except Bette Midler) hates the IRS so everyone can understand this scandal and understand why it is bad...the other things going on are too complicated for the LIV to grab onto, but everyone can spell IRS....
And the fact that the IRS will run OBC is the bottom line here; the R’s have tried to repeal it how many times? This is their chance, so this was a wise battle they chose to fight -IMHO.
