If true, I think it’s because the intimidation and harassment of conservatives, tea partyers, and Republican donors directly affects GOP.

If it isn’t handled quickly and severely, you’ll see more people dropping their GOP party affiliation, refusing to volunteer for campaigns, and campaign contributions drying up out of fear of being targeted for retribution.

The GOP elites have helped us get to this point, but now their ox is in danger of being gored so it’s possible they are taking notice.
