WASHINGTON A White House official says Tom Donilon is resigning as President Barack Obamas national security adviser and will be replaced by Susan Rice.
Rice is currently the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. She has been harshly criticized by Republicans for her initial accounting of the attacks on a U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, which later proved to be incorrect.

This is exactly right. Thank you for phrasing it so well.
Zero cares nothing for honesty or for the rule of law. It’s his way or no way and promoting someone he ordered to lie about Benghazi to one of the top security posts in the free world simply proves it.
A slap in the face to decent, right thinking people everywhere.
Who, this guy?
Welcome to the (D)istrict of (C)hicago..
Land of Commie Cronies.
It’s absolutely incredible how corrupt the regime is. 2012 was stolen with massive vote fraud and now they are rubbing it in our faces over and over again.
Impeachment now!!!
The 0 administration is daring the opposition to actually do something. Congress needs to double down on financially obstructing EVERY 0bama initiative.
WE THE PEOPLE need to work tirelessly to make the 2014 midterms a resounding, crushing, embarrassing defeat for 0 and his policies. It should be energizing to remember that possibly the ONLY reason we lost in 2012 was 0 and his cronies cheating relentlessly.
In the meantime, we can hope that impeachment proceedings begin over one or more of the unconscionable things 0 has likely done.
Rearranging the deck chairs...
Can’t stop this so ridicule it. Call her Obama’s National Security Liar.
Yup. The ones hopelessly entangled are getting promoted so they can get a year or two of big perks before the big blowup, while the ones that can get away without jail are scurrying out the back door.
Thanks. :-)
Issa, Gouty, Camp, Chaffee etc are the ones with the power! They are supported by other very capable congressmen including mine, Young!
Bo is what he is an administrator. The athletic director not the quarterback, end or lineman.
Question: Did Donilon give the “stand down” order on that fateful night?
Inquiring minds would like to know.
Not to be picky but your analogy is flawed. I would say it would be like her giving advice on pediatric brain surgery to Johnny Carson (if he were still live) after which Johnny would go perform some operations.
Thought only resident could do that. But you know he knows what happened. He is no longer covered by Executive Priviledge. We will see what congress does!
Look at the bright side the confirmation hearings are going to be great fun.
Popcorn all around.
Since 0 was AWOL, likely so. This gets him off the hook.
In a word, NO!
Get this woman off the payroll today.
Bingo.
