WASHINGTON — A White House official says Tom Donilon is resigning as President Barack Obama’s national security adviser and will be replaced by Susan Rice.
Rice is currently the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. She has been harshly criticized by Republicans for her initial accounting of the attacks on a U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, which later proved to be incorrect.

i saw it in a report somewhere recently that (a) this change was suspected as comming, (b) the outgoing NSA’s position vis-a-vis “intervention” in Syria was unknown but (c) Rice was believed to be much in favor of it.
So, Rice who had no problem mouthing the idea that protests over a video were the cause celebre that kicked off the terrorist assault in Benghazzi, now heads to NSA to support the Islamist “opposition movement” (Sunni/Saudi-Wahabi-Sunni/MB Islamist putsch) in Syria.
There is no loss of operation of The Peter Principle in the Obama administration.

Osama Bin Laden in 2001 on Sept 11 struck a powerful blow to our financial system.
Now Obama has taken the torch from him and is doing the same thing, just a different method.
