I’m sure that you are not aware that these kids are MODERN ORTHODOX, not “ultra-Orthodox Jews”. I don’t know to which type of “trend” you refer as developing in New York—rowdy teenagers or being an “ultra-Orthodox” Jew. And, BTW, what does it matter whether they were Jewish students, Amish students, or purple students? Why did you feel a need to especially point out that they were Jews? The article states that they were Jews...the clarification was what sort of Jews. If a sect of Catholics did something it would be relevant to state what sect they were.
