The adults said they weren’t behaving to badly. That speaks volumes. For one thing, they don’t recognize bad behavior. And for the other.... they wouldn’t own up that they couldn’t control the kids ... even if they recognized the bad behavior. The adults were probably some parents whose little angels can do no wrong.
Let’s see. TSA groping and other assaults on your dignity, loud crying of children, tight quarters, possibility of an Arab take-over or blow-up of the plane, ill-behaved and/or corpulent seat mates, difficulty of taking care of one’s excretory needs because of limited rest room facilities, unattractive stewardesses (in contrast to the past, i.e., 1960s and early 1970s), horrible food to the extent one gets food, and a few others I cannot mercifully remember. Now, I add boisterous teenagers.
Yep, I knew there was a reason I quit being an air passenger in 2000.

You might want to ask adults who were on the plane, but not "on the trip."

We have raised people with no critical thinking skills and no situational awareness. They live in a cocoon. Unable to understand how their actions endanger themselves and others and unwilling to respect the authority of those with that knowledge. Truly a dangerous generation.
When will these kids learn to keep a copy of the Koran in their hands, so they’ll be untouchable?
Oh, no, I hope this doesn’t harm their self esteem.

I was on this flight, and was waiting for this to hit the news, though I did not think it would be CNN. The first commotion came from the lack of overhead baggage space, the students brought way to much stuff to carry on. The attendants were having to go row by row and forcing some students to check their bags. Some of the students were not happy, and I could see and hear the back and fourth from my seat. As this was happening a few students were up and about, which upset the attendant also. She got worked up pretty easy, but I don't blame her. Around this time the captain came on the overhead and said to comply with the attendants as they try and situated everybody for the flight. But for one reason or another, things seemed to get louder. From what I was told, cause I could not see from my seat, another attendant confronted another student for a reason I don't, who also became unruly.
I think the flight crew has some type of communication system for situations that could become troublesome. Because soon after that the seatbelt lights came on, and the captain said something over the intercom again, then I see him and the attendants about 10 rows up confronting who I think was a chaperon.
About 10 minutes later the captain came on the intercom and asked everybody to calmly deboard the plane row by row, that it was a non emergency. It was in the terminal that we hard by word of mouth that a flight attendant felt threatened by a couple of students and the flight crew asked those students to be removed from the aircraft.
The chaperons informed the flight crew that they could not abandon the students. The flight crew was adamant in not letting those students back on the plane. The chaperons took the position if you kick them all out, then you have to kick all of us out, because we don't have permission to fly with the group separated. So, the airline told them take it or leave it. So, technically they were all kicked out cause they refuse to go on without the whole group.
FWIW, this at least provide a clearer picture of what happened. Of course, it is from the Internet via CNN, so you never know how much truth is actually here.
